Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to join a lovely, welcoming primary school in Redruth, supporting a Year 5/6 class on a full-time basis. This role will involve working closely with pupils who present additional behavioural needs, so confidence and strength in behaviour management is essential. The class includes a couple of tricky characters, and we’re looking for someone calm, consistent and proactive who can build positive relationships while maintaining clear boundaries.

Requirements:

  • Have experience supporting children with SEN, particularly ADHD and Autism / ASD

  • Work well as part of a team and follow behaviour strategies consistently
  • Ideally have previous experience in KS2 (Year 5/6), though this is not essential
