Job Description:

A leading and ‘Outstanding’ primary school in Merton is looking for a Year 2 SEN Teaching Assistant. This role involves supporting children with SEN, providing 1:1 care, and assisting in educational activities. Ideal candidates are graduates with strong academic backgrounds and a passion for education. The school offers exceptional CPD and an inspiring work environment.

Job Responsibility:

Provide 1:1 support to a child in Year 2
Assist with students with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia, Speech and Language issues
Use your creativity and imagination to excite the pupils
Ensure high-quality care and support for students' personal, social, health, hygiene, and welfare matters

Requirements:

A graduate with a strong academic background
A passion for education and creating an inspirational environment for children to flourish within
Creative and confident to use your innovation to create fun and exciting activities
Great communication and interpersonal skills

Nice to have:

Creativity
Imagination
Experience in working with SEN students
Knowledge of ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia, Speech and Language issues
