Job Description:

Bradfords Building Supplies Ltd is looking for a Yard Assistant/ Relief LGV Driver to join our Branch in Glastonbury. You will be the friendly face of the business, offering customers great service whilst ensuring they are served and loaded, that their requirements are met and that they are well supported.

Job Responsibility:

  • Working outside in the yard
  • Assisting customers
  • Picking products and loading them onto lorries and vans for deliveries
  • Unloading supplier lorries and moving product to their locations in the yard
  • Providing cover as the branch's relief LGV Driver when regular drivers are absent
  • Delivering the highest levels of service and guaranteeing Health and Safety compliance
  • Offloading and checking in goods delivered from suppliers

Requirements:

  • Hold an LGV licence or have an interest in gaining your LGV Licence
  • Enjoy working outside
