Writer with 2+ years or relevant experience needed for a full-time, hybrid role in Providence. Will be working exclusively on reports and monthly newsletters. Must have outstanding writing and editing skills. The work involves technical writing and does not include social media, web content, PR, or marketing writing. Job Responsibility:
Research and write assigned sections and/or reports in consultation with senior writer
Review/edit reports for grammar, style, accuracy, and consistency
Copy edit the company publication
Present work in a clear, concise, and professional manner
Requirements:
College degree, with emphasis in journalism, business or technical writing and 2+ years’ experience in technical writing or journalism
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Microsoft Publisher and layout experience is a plus
Strong comprehension of general business terms and concepts
Deadline oriented, able to allocate time efficiently, balance shifting priorities with attention to deadlines and productivity
