At our Vertu Land Rover Bradford dealership we currently have an excellent opportunity for a Workshop Controller to join our outstanding team! The Workshop Controller role is one of the busiest and most important roles within the dealership, and consists of assigning work to Vehicle Technicians to ensure the smooth running of the workshop. The role will involve ensuring all incoming work is planned as well as managing the time and resource of your team. You will assign a team of Technicians to tasks, ensuring productivity is maximised and that deadlines are adhered to at all times. Requirements:

  • Previous experience of working within the Motor Trade, in the Workshop or Senior Technician background
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Full, valid UK driving licence

  • Previous experience as a Workshop Controller, Senior Technician, or similar supervisory role in a commercial vehicle or HGV environment
  • A working technical understanding of vehicles in order to clearly explain repairs or additional repairs to customers
