Job Responsibility:

  • Take ownership of our Workday Absence and Time Tracking modules, ensuring they are configured correctly and continuously improved
  • Ensure that our time and absence processes are fully compliant with German labor law
  • Collaborate closely with HR to support time-related data flows and system integrations
  • Act as a trusted point of contact for internal stakeholders and provide expert guidance on system-related topics
  • Manage Workday releases, testing cycles, documentation, and ongoing system enhancements
  • Support reporting, audits, and process optimization initiatives to continuously improve our setup

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with Workday Absence and/or Time Tracking (Workday certifications in these modules are a strong plus)
  • Experience working in German companies, ideally in larger environments with 1,000+ employees
  • Solid understanding of German labor law, particularly in relation to working time and absence regulations
  • Experience working closely with Payroll and HR teams and understanding the importance of clean data and smooth collaboration
  • Analytical thinking and a hands-on, solution-oriented approach to challenges
  • Fluent in English
  • German skills are a strong advantage
