Job Description:

The Berra Workday Integration Test Lead will be responsible for creating test scenarios for the Systems, Integration, User Acceptance (UAT) and End to End (E2E) testing phases of the Human Resources Workday implementation for the Diabetes Care spinoff from BD. This would include designing testing templates, creating test scenarios from business requirements and process documentation, identifying test criteria for data extraction, extracting specific test ids to meet testing criteria (UAT and E2E only), communicating test scenarios and obtaining input from testers, assistance with training testers, and assisting with execution of test scenarios including identification of defects and documenting test results. Will be providing assistance and input into the development, management, and execution of the test plan to ensure completion of all tasks within the scheduled amount of time, as well as ensuring that all business requirements have been thoroughly tested and all design meets the expectation of the requester as required. This position also requires a strong focus on task management, flexibility, and adjusting test activities to ensure quality.

Job Responsibility:

  • Review and comprehend all project documents to be able to determine test script creation activities
  • Review and approve all test scenarios developed by test scenario writers, as well as completing test scenario development as needed
  • Design testing templates for end users
  • Create scenarios with expected results that track back to each business requirements
  • Attend all project meetings to gain knowledge of the project and ask appropriate test questions
  • Develop test id criteria for data extraction
  • Assist with data extractions
  • Assist with developing communications/presentations for training end users
  • Assist with end user training sessions including follow-up on outstanding issues as requested
  • Assist with executing functional UAT, BST and SIT/integration and regression testing as requested
  • Assistance with analysis and reporting of test results in a clear and timely manner according to business requirements as requested
  • Assist with accurate tracking and monitoring of testing failures and related defect tracking as requested
  • Closely work with the project team, communicating issues and reporting testing progress as requested
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of concepts and principles of the testing methodology
  • Ensure that all testing scenarios have been formally captured and stored on the appropriate SharePoint/Teams site or QA system

Requirements:

  • Experience with Workday testing highly favorable
  • One (1) years’ experience specifically related to Workday HCM projects as a test script/scenario writer preferred
  • One (1) year of management experience managing test scenario writers or test team preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, remaining agile and flexible in a challenging environment and managing multiple competing priorities
  • Possesses excellent demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
  • Command of various testing methodologies and tools
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Teams and Visio required
  • Bachelor of science degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Human Resources or related field
  • Three to Five (3-5) years’ experience on multiple HR projects writing test scenarios
