Job Description:

This role as a Windows, AD and VMware Administrator involves troubleshooting and managing IT services for Windows OS, Active Directory, and VMware technologies in hybrid environments. HPE Operations provides expertise to accelerate customers' digital transformation.

Job Responsibility:

Troubleshooting Windows OS, Windows Cluster, Performance issues, RDP issues, Hyper-V
Installation, configuration, and support for Windows Server 2016 till 2025
Dump file analysis
Windows patching
Administering Active Directory and managing GPOs
Monitoring and resolving Active Directory replication issues, SYSVOL consistency, DFSR
Mitigating vulnerabilities in AD and Windows server
Ensuring synchronized Windows Time Service configuration
Managing VMware virtualization technologies including ESXi, vCenter, vSphere
Development and enforcement of standards, security procedures, and access controls
Administering HPE Synergy, C7000, Proliant systems
Managing vCenter and vSphere performance monitoring

Requirements:

8+ years of experience in working on Active Directory and 6+ years of experience in Windows Administration
MS cluster Administration
Networking
Performance Tuning
Patch Management
Windows Upgrades into production environment
customer-facing or customer support roles
troubleshooting skills and problem-solving ability for Windows OS, Windows Cluster, Performance issue, RDP issues, and Hyper-V
Windows Server 2016 till 2025 installation, configuration and end-to-end support for OS-related issues
Dump file analysis
Good experience required in Windows patching
Experience in MS tools like Perfmon, procmon and netmon
PowerShell scripting knowledge
troubleshooting skills related to Active Directory
Microsoft Identity technologies including Active Directory, Windows File Services, and Group Policies
administering Active Directory (AD) and GPOs
Active Directory replication, SYSVOL consistency, and DFSR (Distributed File System Replication)
DNS, DHCP, WINS, DFSN in all versions of Windows server
Vulnerability mitigation of AD and Windows server
Windows Time Service (W32Time) configuration across all domain controllers
infrastructure and server theories, principles and concepts
application infrastructure and standards
networking fundamentals
Windows
Physical Server architecture
Virtualization Technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper V) and LAN/WAN/Firewall/VPN network technologies
standards, security procedures, and controls for integrity of Windows systems, Active Directory, and related systems
server virtualization technologies, preferably VMware and/or Microsoft technologies
Azure IAAS, AD DS, Azure Active Directory Premium
Compute knowledge as an addon skill
Admin, Operate and Manage HPE Synergy, C7000, Proliant, Virtual Connect
ESXi and vCenter upgrades and Command Line Interface
vCenter management
vSphere Performance Monitoring, Performance Chart, and esxtop
understanding of vSphere Storage and Networking
certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, MCTS, MCITP, MTA, AZ-800/801
VMware VCP certification
