Job Description:

We are seeking Windows 11 Deployment Engineers to support a major device-upgrade programme across two Derby campus user clinics. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you will guide end users through a smooth device swap as part of a high-volume Windows 11 rollout. Working from a simple script, you will manage around 14 device exchanges per day, each delivered in a pre-booked 30-minute 1:1 appointment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Meet users in scheduled 30-minute deployment sessions
  • Swap devices and complete all scripted configuration and validation checks
  • Ensure each new device boots, connects, and operates correctly before handover
  • Record returns and ensure accurate tracking of old devices
  • Escalate any technical issues to the on-site support team

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in desktop support, floorwalking, or device deployment
  • Confident communicator with strong customer-service skills
  • Able to work efficiently in a structured, high-throughput environment
