Job Description:

W Sydney is now casting for a WET Deck or 2930 attendant to focus on customer service and maintenance of our WET Deck and/or 2930 bar on level 29. Collaborating closely with the venue management, this integral role will focus on creating unique and vibrant experiences for our guest.

Job Responsibility:

  • Setting up the cabanas and sunlounges in the morning
  • Greeting and welcoming guests to the WET Deck
  • Escorting the guests to their cabanas and sunlounges
  • Managing guest requests and enquiries
  • Supporting B&F operations
  • Activating the B&F programming
  • Offering WET Deck services
  • Continuously engaging with guests and talent
  • Ensuring the cleanliness of WET deck and 2930 surrounding areas
  • Attending to guest requests and beverage and food orders
  • Reporting any maintenance concerns
  • Service and cleaning of the cabanas, sunlounges and the bar area in line with the standards
  • Ensure cabanas and sun lounges are set up with pool towels and amenities every morning
  • Ensure WET Deck is fully stocked with guest amenities, and towels
  • Assisting the wider B&F team as required
  • Ensuring equipment and storerooms are clean and maintained
  • Using appropriate chemicals for cleaning purposes whilst ensuring safe practices are maintained
  • Providing excellent guest service that is engaging, personal and attentive
  • Ensuring the precision in processing orders, accommodating any special requests or dietary restrictions and delivering beverage and food orders promptly
  • Maintaining and cleaning the area in a timely manner and resetting tables
  • Staying informed about the menu offerings, including ingredient and preparation methods, and assist guests with menu choices and recommendations
  • Working closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure efficient and coordinated service
