The Weekend Receptionist is responsible for greeting visitors, answering phone calls, providing administrative support, and maintaining a professional, organized front desk environment. This role is essential in ensuring smooth weekend operations and creating a positive first impression for families and guests.
Job Responsibility:
Greet residents, families, visitors, and vendors in a warm and professional manner
Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls
Maintain visitor logs and ensure compliance with building entry protocols
Provide general administrative support to the management and care teams
Assist with weekend scheduling updates, message taking, and staff communication
Respond to resident or visitor inquiries with courtesy and accuracy
Manage incoming mail/packages and distribute appropriately
Maintain lobby and front desk cleanliness and organization
Support emergency procedures by following established facility protocols
Uphold confidentiality and resident privacy at all times (HIPAA-compliant behaviors)
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Prior experience in reception, customer service, or administrative roles preferred
Experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality a plus
