Weekend Food and Beverage Assistant

• Preparing and making meals using our ovens and kitchen equipment to offer a taste of Sweden to our customers and co-workers
• The kitchen is a safety-first, fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail for all things safety as well as efficient multi-tasking to ensure IKEA remains a safe place for people to shop, work and have fun
• Serving customers, taking payment, and ensuring the restaurant and bistro areas are clean and a pleasant dining experience
• Preparing for the next day's trade, as well as managing waste and working in a sustainable and cost-conscious way

• Prior kitchen and catering experience is a plus, but not required if you are hands-on and willingness to roll up your sleeves
• Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment
• Be self-reliant and motivated, ready to work independently and as part of our team
• Enjoy serving our many customers, providing great customer service and a lovely Swedish meal
• Ability to remain organised and detail-orientated, even when things get busy
• Due to health and safety regulations, all applicants must be over the age of 18
