Job Description:

An hourly Wedding Venue Assistant position for Renault Winery Resort Weddings. This role will act as an assistant to the Wedding Venue Coordinator and assist our brides on the day of their weddings.

Job Responsibility:

  • Promote and portray the VIVÂMEE Values
  • Assist with set-up and maintenance of bridal suite - bringing couple food and beverage as requested and needed
  • General clean-up of the bridal suite following the completion of hair and makeup
  • Assistant with any requests from the couple, wedding party and family during the day
  • Act as guest liaison and help direct guests around property
  • Assist Wedding Venue Coordinator with any wedding and event set-up and breakdown
  • Help set up all of the wedding couples ‘personal items before the wedding begins
  • Work closely with Wedding Venue Coordinator and Catering Manager to ensure a smooth day of event for the couple
  • Look out for the safety of our staff and guests
  • Ensure that our guests enjoy their stay with us

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Schedule will primarily be on weekends and occasional weekdays
  • No experience required, but a strong interest in wedding and event coordination and planning is ideal
  • People in this position have the opportunity for advancement to a full-time Wedding Venue Coordinator role
  • Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds
  • Must be very flexible with your schedule - early morning and regular weekend work required
