The Mixpanel Website Owner will be responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, development, and management of www.mixpanel.com, https://mixpanel.com/blog and other digital properties. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, marketing acumen, and strategic thinking to ensure the website effectively supports our business goals, engages visitors, and converts traffic.
Job Responsibility:
Website Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive website strategy aligned with business objectives. Define and track website goals and KPIs to measure success and inform continuous improvement
Lead Generation and Conversion Optimization: Run a continuous testing program across all points of engagement. Implement best practices across the site to maximize conversion rates for all audience types
AI Chat Concierge: Implement and continually optimize our AI Chat functionality to evolve into an AI concierge for our web content
Content Management: With the content team, create, curate, and manage high-quality, relevant content to attract and engage our target audience. Design and build processes and to enable regular updates and maintenance of all website content, including blogs, case studies, and product updates
GEO, SEO and Organic Traffic: Implement technical SEO & GEO best practices to enhance site performance and visibility. Optimize website content and structure for search engines and LLMs to continually improve organic traffic volumes and rankings
User Experience (UX): Working with the brand team, design and maintain an intuitive and user-friendly website layout and navigation compliant with our brand standards. Ensure the website is accessible and provides a seamless experience across all devices
Globalization: Design, socialize, and implement a global strategy for web properties to enable our regional teams in multiple languages
Analytics and Reporting: Track and monitor in real-time the website performance. Implement an early warning system for degradation in performance or outages. Monitor website performance metrics using Google Analytics and other relevant platforms. Provide regular reports and insights to stakeholders, making data-driven recommendations for improvements
Compliance and Legal Issues: Ensure the website complies with legal standards, such as GDPR, and accessibility regulations. Implement and maintain robust website security measures to protect against cyber threats
Project Management: Oversee multiple complex web projects from conception to completion
Vendor and Agency Management: Manage relationships with external contractors, agencies, and vendors, ensuring high-quality deliverables within budget and timelines
Requirements:
8+ years of experience in website management, preferably in a fast-growing, innovative, B2B tech environment
Experience or curiosity to implement AI across the website
Strong understanding of GEO, SEO, content strategy, and user experience design
Significant CRO success with a notable B2B website
Experience working with Framer and Google Analytics
Proficiency using creative software and tools- ideally AI-powered
Excellent project management and organizational skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Nice to have:
Knowledge of security and compliance standards is a plus
