Job Description:

You will join the AH Information Management Directorate, to manage, drive and monitor the delivery of Digital projects, related to Airbus Helicopters Customer Relationship Management domain. The Web development technical leader is dedicated to supporting these businesses in designing, developing and supporting IT solutions that support a common vision shared across business departments.

Job Responsibility:

  • Define and evolve the technical roadmap for web development, aligning it with business objectives and industry trends
  • Lead the design and architecture of web applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and security
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the web development team (mainly today outsourced), fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence
  • Oversee code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards, and implement best practices for software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Collaborate with product owners and business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical specifications
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies, frameworks, and tools to enhance web development capabilities
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide solutions to ensure smooth operation of web applications
  • Manage the technical debt, ensuring maintainability and long-term viability of web solutions
  • Stay updated with emerging web technologies and industry standards, and integrate them where appropriate
  • Participate in Airbus group initiatives and lead technical exchanges, representing the web development domain

Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, modern frameworks like React, Angular, Vue.js) and CMS solutions (liferay, strapi)
  • Deep understanding of back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, .NET, Ruby on Rails) and relevant frameworks
  • Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and their relevant services
  • Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration
  • Understanding of API design principles (REST, GraphQL) and integration
  • Solid grasp of security best practices in web development
  • Experience with performance optimization and scalability considerations
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
