Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Web Developer to join our team in Wheaton, Illinois, and contribute to the development and enhancement of web and database applications. This role requires expertise in creating scalable, multi-tiered solutions while working with modern technologies and programming languages.

Job Responsibility:

Design and implement web and database applications utilizing VB.Net and C#
Develop and optimize scalable, multi-tiered solutions to meet business needs
Write and maintain efficient queries and stored procedures in SQL Server
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate APIs and enhance system functionality
Ensure responsive and interactive designs using JavaScript, HTML4/HTML5, and CSS2/CSS3
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including debugging and bug tracking processes
Utilize tools such as Atlassian Jira to manage development tasks and workflows
Implement and test new features, ensuring compatibility with existing systems
Participate in Agile Scrum processes to deliver high-quality solutions
Contribute to interface design and usability improvements where applicable

Requirements:

At least 4 years of experience in web development with a focus on scalable, multi-tiered solutions
Proficiency in VB.Net and C# programming languages
Hands-on experience with SQL Server, including query writing and stored procedure development
Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML4/HTML5, CSS2/CSS3, and AJAX
Familiarity with API development and integration
Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies and tools like Atlassian Jira
Background in client-side scripting and content management systems (CMS)
Interface design experience is a plus
