We're seeking a versatile Web Developer to lead a full website redesign and support ongoing digital initiatives. This role combines visual design, front-end development, and CMS management, with additional responsibilities supporting intranet portals and ongoing site maintenance.
Job Responsibility:
Lead redesign of the organization’s public website with a modern, responsive, accessible UI
Create templates, themes, and UI components within a CMS (Cascade CMS preferred but not required)
Produce wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and final design assets
Maintain and update site structure, navigation, and content
Build and manage templates, components, and branding standards across digital properties
Support discussions around CMS modernization or migration
Develop and enhance internal portals using SharePoint or similar platforms
Build custom pages, components, and basic workflows
Maintain directories and other administrative web components
Collaborate with marketing, IT, and internal teams to gather requirements and deliver user-friendly solutions
Ensure accessibility (WCAG), performance optimization, and security best practices
Provide troubleshooting and continuous enhancements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
3+ years of experience in web design and front-end development
Hands-on experience building templates/themes in a CMS (Cascade CMS, WordPress, Drupal, etc.)
Experience with SharePoint (modern pages, templates, intranet components)
