RBC Wealth Management Europe provides comprehensive wealth management capabilities through RBC Brewin Dolphin and RBC Wealth Management to private clients, including professionals, inheritors, business owners, entrepreneurs, intermediaries and charities. We help clients meet their financial goals through investments, financial planning, trust, credit, and banking capabilities. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Wealth Manager, based in London to service clients in the surrounding areas.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain existing client relationships and identify new opportunities through key origination tactics and networks
Deliver net revenue growth for the group by focusing on achieving team and individual net sales targets
Manage a predominantly financial planning client base, developing and maintaining existing client relationships, and further increasing business with the generation of new clients
Have successful conversations with clients and prospects, developing a full understanding of their financial goals, personal goals, and ambitions
Operate with a growth mindset and contribute towards the achievement of the branch business plan
Proactively network through seeking opportunities with current, new, and potential clients
Support business development events
Clearly articulate the full breadth of RBC proposition (e.g. investment, lending, cash, and trust solutions) to clients and prospects
Work as part of the broader wealth management team, and introduce the right specialists to client relationships, where required, to enhance client experience and deliver exceptional client outcomes
Ensure clients are referred internally to ‘home of best fit’
Confidently take clients through as much of the advice journey as possible before involving other specialist colleagues
Requirements:
At least Level 4 CII or CISI (with FP & Advice paper)
Demonstrable experience within a wealth management/wealth planning role with an in-depth understanding of complex wealth advice areas
Proven Relationship Management skills, with ability to understand client needs, the knowledge and communication skills to identify and articulate solutions and the integrity to earn the client’s trust
Knowledge of business sectors, current business developments, market trends, and financial products and services to effectively communicate with clients
Nice to have:
Preference to have obtained, or working towards, Level 6 CII, or Level 7 CISI Chartered Wealth Manager
