Job Description:

Confidential defense industry distributor seeks a dependable Warehouse Representative to handle receiving, put-away, picking, packing and shipping. You’ll work in a climate-controlled warehouse, operate material-handling equipment, and support accurate, on-time order fulfillment for customers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Receive inbound shipments
  • verify counts and condition
  • stage and put away to assigned bin locations
  • Pick, pack, and ship customer orders
  • confirm accuracy and prepare labels/BOLs
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area (5S)
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other MHE safely
  • complete pre-use inspections
  • Perform basic inventory control (cycle counts, bin audits)
  • Follow written and verbal work instructions
  • assist with additional tasks as assigned

Requirements:

  • Prior warehouse / shipping & receiving experience
  • Active security clearance or VantageClear credential required
  • Basic computer skills
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office and barcode scanners/WMS
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and customer-service mindset
  • Clear communication skills (verbal & written) and ability to follow SOPs
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and aptitude assessments
  • Lift up to 70 lbs
  • stand/walk for long periods
  • squat, stoop, kneel, and climb ladders as needed
  • Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment (training available)
