Job Description:

Xpert Resourcing is seeking a Warehouse Operative / Van Driver to join our client’s friendly and expanding team based in Bury St Edmunds. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and motivated individual with experience in warehouse operations and multi-drop driving. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety, and customer service.

Job Responsibility:

  • Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for dispatch
  • Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Carrying out local and regional deliveries using company vehicles
  • Completing vehicle checks and maintaining delivery records
  • Supporting warehouse operations including stock control and goods-in/goods-out
  • Ensuring all deliveries are made safely, on time, and to the correct locations
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
  • Assisting with general warehouse duties as required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or van driving role
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Confident in manual handling and lifting
  • Strong organisational and timekeeping abilities
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team
