Responsible for maintaining acceptable and accurate inventory levels and supervision of the Shipping & Receiving department to meet production specifications and requirements.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain acceptable and accurate inventory levels
Supervision of the Shipping & Receiving department
Coordinate with Warehouse Manager to direct work of department personnel
Report shortages, overages, and all inventory levels for replenishment
Classify, label, and warehouse all inventories for future use
Keep accurate records of inventory levels and locations
Communicate with managers and purchasing on inventory levels and locations
Maintain a record of all transfers and purchase orders
Implement and follow a control system to reduce damage, breakage, and inventory obsolescence
Create and document shipments and transfers providing tracking information and Bill of Ladings between warehouse and other Branches
Monitor various reports pertaining to shipping and receiving including Open Purchase Order Reports
Assign locations for inventory and perform quantity moves when necessary
Monitor inventory levels and communicate with Materials Manager
Conduct cycle counts
Ensure department always maintains good housekeeping habits
Ensure all department personnel are following procedures
Assure that the Shipping and Receiving department follows the Cactus Wellhead Receiving Process
Review and provide feedback to management on the preservation of product requirements for inventory stocked
Special projects or assignments as directed by management
Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
or one to three months related experience and/or training
or equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge of wellhead equipment
Intermediate Computer and Language Skills
Basic Mathematical Skills
Basic Reasoning Ability
Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds regularly
Stand and walk for extended periods (up to 12 hours per shift)
Climb stairs and ladders

Perform repetitive movements
Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
