Job Description:

As a Warehouse/ CSC Lead, you will be responsible for leading the team to accomplish the daily warehouse duties.

Job Responsibility:

  • Run day to day RDC operation in the most efficient manner possible, leading the warehouse team in daily activities (i.e., load/unload trucks, perform and reconcile inventory, and assist the Customer Service Center as required)
  • Monitor and schedule maintenance of all RDC equipment (roll-loaders, dock equipment, etc.)
  • Effectively communicate with customers and support personnel to provide excellent service
  • Maintain current customer base by providing excellent customer service, including building synergy with local sales force
  • Ensure adherence to governmental (DOT, OSHA, etc.) regulations and company policies and procedures
  • Maintain high standards of safety, organization, and inventory accuracy
  • Responsibilities include assisting with interviewing, training employees
  • planning, assigning, and directing work
  • appraising performance
  • addressing complaints and resolving problems
  • Other duties may be assigned

Requirements:

  • Ability to train/manage/lead/understand LEAN or CI principles and activities in a logistics environment
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Ability to interpret data and create useful information
  • Ability to root cause analyze and apply appropriate countermeasures to correct anomalies
  • Basic leadership skills
  • Intermediate customer service skills
  • Ability to lift and/or move miscellaneous equipment and product weighing up to 50 lbs. frequently and over 100 lbs. occasionally

Nice to have:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • 5 years' experience in a Logistics Supervisorial Position preferred
