The Opportunity: We are looking for a Warehouse Coordinator with a passion for the events industry. This is a casual position, based at our Adelaide warehouse in Richmond.
Job Responsibility:
Monitor and develop warehouse processes to ensure safe, effective storage & distribution of S&D stock
Ensure the scheduled despatches and returns are met to the highest standard with the use of R2 and that items are returned to the shelf as per best practice
Ensure all OH&S guidelines, processes and principles are adopted within the warehouse
Ensure all items are securely stored and at the adequate height for lifting and that items stored via fork lift are securely harnessed and stored
In conjunction with Warehouse Manager and Event Designer, assist, prioritise and manage ongoing projects within the warehouse
Be proactive in ensuring warehouse is kept in a neat and tidy condition at all times
Maintain and monitor systems and ensuring that accurate records are being kept
Develop an understanding of the equipment and theming requirements associated with events
Maintain effective communication with operations, theming, hotels and interstate offices
Requirements:
Forklift license
Previous experience in a warehouse environment
Has or willing to get their test & tag license
Ability to work under pressure
High level computer skills (MS Office)
Good oral and written communication skills
Good customer service skills
Time management skills
the ability to manage multiple and competing deadlines
Maturity to deal with people at all levels of the organisation
Ability to work after hours (when necessary)
Conflict resolution skills
Proven accuracy and attention to detail
Nice to have:
Experience with Audio, Visual and Lighting systems will be highly regarded, but not essential
MR licence will be highly regarded, but not essential
