Job Description:

We have an opening for a Warehouse Associate working in the Oakville location. This is an hourly paid position with benefits and the potential for an annual bonus. It’s an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, career-oriented individual desirous of being part of a large, evolving and successful global organization with the ability to impact future successes. There is an opportunity for growth into many areas within the warehouse environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Main warehouse duties will include order picking, shipping and receiving
  • Safe daily operation of an electric counterbalance lift truck
  • Warehouse and equipment maintenance
  • Other warehouse duties as assigned
  • Preparing documents for shipping: Bills of Lading, other shipping documents
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs unassisted
  • Other warehouse duties as required around the warehouse
  • Product inspections and processing paperwork
  • Installing blinds into skylights prior to shipping to customers
  • Shipping coordination on computer system

Requirements:

  • Valid license for counterbalance electric lift truck
  • Previous warehouse experience
  • Past experience with Bills of Lading and shipping documents
  • Must be physically fit with the ability to lift >50 lbs
  • Computer literate with knowledge of Internet and MS Office
  • Self-management and organizational skills
  • Creative thinking and problem solving
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Professional appearance and attitude
