Walk behind Floor Tech

• Floor Care Maintenance Technician working as a team to maintain hard floor surfaces, carpet, some VCT, hand mopping, and vacuuming
• Use proper PPE where required
• Some hand mopping
• Use of chemical safety procedures
• Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude and contribute to the overall team effort including being in uniform, dependable and on time
• Has respect and understanding for co-workers and clients

• Must be familiar with running a walk behind floor machine and maintenance of machine
• Must be able to follow maintenance task schedule of equipment (daily/weekly)
• Must be able to communicate in English and/or use a translation tool
• Must have own reliable transportation
• Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching over head, reaching forward
• Must be able to lift and/or carry 25lbs
• Ability to read instructions in English
• Willing to wear a backpack vacuum
• Respect of equipment which includes daily and weekly maintenance

Experience working for a professional janitorial company, office complex, hotel, hospital, or school is a plus
