Job Description:

W Edinburgh is hiring a Waiter/ress to join W Lounge as part of the team. You will be the key point of contact for our guests while they dine in the restaurant: making them feel welcome, taking their food and drink orders, making recommendations, and ensuring they have the best possible time while dining with us.

Job Responsibility:

Have a detailed knowledge of the food and beverage on offer in W Lounge
Be proactive in learning about our menus and the culture of the places they have been inspired by
Take food and drink orders and answer any questions on the menu selection
Ensure guests enjoy their time with us, checking back for satisfaction and resolving any issues that arise
Communicate with the kitchen regarding questions, length of wait, product availability, meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs and special requests
Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass and silver throughout the day
Restock items
Present physical and accurate check to guests and process payments
Follow health and safety guidelines and policies to report accidents and injuries
Work as a team with the rest of the SUSHISAMBA team, supporting wherever necessary as directed by your manager
