The HPE Storage business is a critical component of Hewlett Packard Enterprise's overall strategy. It plays a pivotal role in helping customers manage and leverage their data effectively, which is essential in today's data-driven world. Over the last couple of years, we have been transforming and investing significantly in our Storage portfolio and sales force. Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a highly experienced and strategic North America Storage Sales VP to lead our storage sales organization. This senior leadership role is pivotal in driving the success of HPE's storage business, overseeing a large team of sales and presales professionals and reporting to the VP of Global Hybrid Cloud Sales.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and execute the GTM strategy for storage sales to achieve revenue and market share growth
Lead and manage a large, diverse team of sales and presales professionals, ensuring alignment with HPE's strategic objectives
Build and maintain a high-performing storage sales force through effective recruitment, training, and development programs
Collaborate with HPE Storage Product Management, Marketing, and other internal teams to develop and deliver integrated sales programs
Drive the transformation of HPE's storage business by leveraging a strong portfolio of storage solutions, including HPE Alletra, HPE GreenLake, and other innovative products
Foster strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders to drive sales and business development efforts
Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform strategic decisions
Represent HPE at industry events and conferences to promote the company's storage solutions and thought leadership
Domestic travel will be required, roughly 75%
Requirements:
Proven success in an executive sales leadership role within the technology industry in storage solutions or related fields
Strong track record of developing and executing GTM strategies and driving revenue growth
Excellent leadership and management skills, with experience overseeing large, diverse teams
Deep understanding of the storage market and key players, with the ability to navigate complex sales environments
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at the C-level
Ability to think strategically and execute methodically in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
