Job Description:

The Volunteer Services Administrator is responsible for supporting the recruitment, scheduling, and management of volunteers to ensure effective participation in organizational programs and events. This role involves maintaining volunteer records, assisting with training, and providing ongoing support to enhance volunteer engagement.

Job Responsibility:

  • Volunteer Database Management: Maintain and update the volunteer database
  • Volunteer Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for volunteers
  • Event Coordination Support: Assist in the planning and execution of volunteer-related events
  • Volunteer Onboarding Assistance: Support the onboarding process
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the volunteer services team
  • Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from volunteers
  • Patient and Family Support: Responsible for supporting, greeting, and assisting patients and families within the centers

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma Required
  • At least 1 year of work experience
  • Volunteer experience preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Proficiency in maintaining accurate volunteer records
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with volunteer management software
  • Ability to address and resolve minor volunteer issues
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Keen attention to detail
