Are you someone who loves connecting with people and making a positive impact in your community? Age UK Lancashire is looking for friendly, compassionate volunteers to become Health Champions in Lancaster, Morecambe, and Carnforth.

Job Responsibility:

  • Hosting drop-in sessions at GP surgeries, community centres, and local hubs
  • Chatting with individuals at risk of poor health and guide them to support services
  • Signposting to social groups, carers’ networks, and condition-specific support
  • Helping people overcome barriers like transport and accessibility
  • Referring individuals to Age UK Lancashire’s Living Well Support Service for tailored support or arrange check-in phone calls to help people stay engaged and informed
