Job Description:

Lead and develop visual merchandising strategies for a prestigious luxury brand in Japan – a dynamic role offering significant creative freedom and impact. You will be responsible for leading and managing all visual merchandising activities across Japan, bringing your creative vision to life in our boutiques, pop-up shops, and events. You will collaborate closely with the MD team to localize global VM guidelines, ensuring consistent brand identity while adapting to the unique Japanese market. You will also directly manage and mentor BTQ staff, guiding them to embody the brand's identity.

Job Responsibility:

Lead and develop visual merchandising strategies for a prestigious luxury brand in Japan
Develop and implement window display guidelines for boutiques
Direct and oversee the updating of window displays across all locations
Regularly visit boutiques to assess and update visual displays, adapting to seasonal concepts and sales performance
Create and deliver seasonal VM guidelines, ensuring brand consistency and inspiring retail staff
Manage the budget for visual merchandising materials and fixtures
Collaborate on visual merchandising for pop-up shops, events, and special projects

Requirements:

3-5 years of visual merchandising experience in the retail industry, preferably within a luxury brand
Proven ability to translate global VM concepts to a local context, demonstrating strong adaptation skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others
Fluency in Japanese and business-level English
A strong understanding of retail business and the luxury goods market in Japan
