Job Description:

As part of our team in the Visual Merchandising department, you will be responsible for the presentation and communication of the IKEA furnishing range. With strong visual impressions, you will continue to surprise and inspire our visitors, thus strengthening the IKEA brand.

Job Responsibility:

present the IKEA brand throughout the furniture store in a distinctive and contemporary way
plan shops and layouts for individual departments and product areas and are involved in their implementation
continually deepen knowledge of decor and trends
present new product ranges and seasonal adjustments
work closely with colleagues from other departments in the furniture store and also coordinate the work of external companies

Requirements:

creative spirit supported by commercial and visual skills and a sense of aesthetics
passion for a fast-paced retail environment and the home furnishing business
drive, a point of view and ideas to share and inspire through designs
interested in teamwork and understand the importance of sharing knowledge
preferably studied visual merchandising, industrial or interior design, or a similar design field
proactive and seek to simplify working methods, processes, and new ways to work
can deal with stressful and heavy workload times with balance
good knowledge of software related to planning and presentation (REVIT, AutoCAD)
fluent in English and German
