Delft Store is looking for an experienced Visual Merchandiser with 2 to 3 years of experience to join us. It is your passion to create inspiring store solutions for an easy and convenient shopping experience and increasing vitality. You do this by translating deep knowledge about consumer buying behaviour, store layout, range presentation and local market knowledge. Through this you contribute to positioning the IKEA Brand in the local market as the home furnishing specialist and the IKEA store as an up-to-date and innovative destination that always offers something new.
Job Responsibility:

Translate deep knowledge about consumer buying behaviour, store layout, range presentation and local market knowledge
Contribute to positioning the IKEA Brand in the local market as the home furnishing specialist
Use visual merchandising competence to strengthen the uniqueness of the IKEA identity in range presentation solutions
Plan and implement relevant, inspiring, affordable and commercial range presentation solutions
Secure high quality, simplicity, efficiency and cost consciousness in planning and implementing all range presentation solutions
Actively contribute to the department action plan with initiatives that will grow the business and support long-term profitability
Keep knowledge up to date with regards to home furnishing, retailing and trends
Actively contribute to the implementation of the commercial calendar of the store
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 to 3 years of proven work experience in a similar role
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks to meet deadlines
Ability to use knowledge about life at home into relevant and inspiring range presentation solutions
Good communicator with ability to share and transfer knowledge in many different ways, both individually and in larger groups
Communicate well in English (written and spoken)
Potential and wish to grow within Ikea, with a desire to eventually develop into a leader or manager position
Knowledge of Revit is a must
Nice to have:
Design-based educational qualification
Relevant background working in a design-oriented role
