Job Description:

The Visual Merchandiser is responsible for ensuring that the visual expression of the store aligns with IKEA manuals and the IKEA Concept, ensuring comprehensive implementation. The role requires coordination with various teams to maintain brand integrity and functional home furnishing solutions that inspire customers.

Job Responsibility:

Plan and coordinate execution of accessory shops, shop windows, activity podiums, perimeter breaks, self-serve, Swedish Food Market, and Exit Cafe displays
Ensure integrity of IKEA concept and brand by following IKEA manuals
Create functional home furnishing solutions within the store
Work with Interior Designers to create functional and inspirational display solutions
Liaise with Sales and In-Store Logistics teams to implement projects or daily sales steering activities
Support planning and implementation of store commercial calendar
Implement cost-effective, safe, and environmentally friendly display solutions
Research and maintain detailed knowledge of home furnishing solutions according to local market

Requirements:

Degree or Diploma in Interior Designing or Architecture
Minimum 3-5 years of retail interior design or visual merchandising experience
Ability to visualize, design, and communicate home furnishing and retail solutions
Excellent command of English
Proficiency in Arabic preferred
Attention to detail with keen eye for aesthetics
Commitment to high-quality execution within limited time frames

Nice to have:

Proficiency in Arabic
