Job Description:

The Video Producer role at Fever involves creating high-quality scripted and unscripted video content related to Chicago city life, collaborating with a talented team, and leveraging cutting-edge digital media trends. Job Responsibility:

Create professional-quality scripted and unscripted video content for Chicago-related topics
write engaging video script copy
produce social media content ranging from TikTok to YouTube
stay updated with the latest trends in social media and digital video platforms
appear on camera when needed
collaborate within a team while also working independently
meet tight deadlines as necessary within contractual rights

Requirements:

Proficiency in both written and spoken English
proven experience in working on professional-quality scripted and unscripted videos, supported by a showreel and portfolio of previous work
holds a Bachelor’s degree or similar in Film, Design, Communication, or a related field
confidence in writing video script copy
social media content creation skills, ranging from TikTok to YouTube
keen interest in the latest trends in social media and digital video platforms
ability to work independently and within a team
willingness to work outside office hours and meet tight deadlines when necessary
passionate about Chicago city life and the topics covered
excellent understanding of digital media trends and shareable online content
proactive attitude
comfortable appearing on camera

Nice to have:

Advanced proficiency in Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Media Encoder
comfortable creating video and still imagery using digital cameras such as Sony Alpha series, GoPro, iPhone
basic experience in motion graphics and titling
confidence in creating diverse video formats such as cinemographs, gifs, and typographical animation
knowledge of digital media including codecs, image types, resolutions, frame rates, and the latest digital workflows
experience conducting interviews and appearing in front of the camera
understanding of basic color correction, basic sound design, and mixing

Total compensation ranging from $69,000 to $75,000 gross/year depending on experience
