Job Description:

Join our expanding Citi Finance Team in Budapest. The Valuation Control Group (VCG) reviews and reports fair value inventory across all asset classes and legal entities. This role provides broad exposure to asset classes and offers career development opportunities.

Job Responsibility:

Act as the primary VCG contact for the Legal Entities in scope
Define and maintain a consistent governance and control framework for the legal entity
represent VCG in the legal entity governance forums
Collaborate with all VCG product-aligned and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting for the relevant Legal Entities
Provide execution and subject matter expertise for input variables production used (e.g. scalars) in the Prudent Valuation process
Conduct thematic analyses and identify trends in the IPV, VA, FVH, Pruval across various dimensions such as Legal Entities, business and products

Requirements:

5-7 years’ experience in a valuation, risk or product control related discipline with a strong interest in the financial markets and the evolving regulatory landscape
A team player who embraces knowledge sharing within the team and helps to establish and maintain a high-performance culture in the team
Actively seeks opportunities for improvement, automation, sources of new ideas and approaches leading to performance improvement
A people-oriented individual who can influence, motivate and establish partnerships with stakeholders to drive progress
Ability to work independently and resolve unstructured problems
Experience of using data analytics tools such as KNIME, Python, Tableau and VBA for Excel
