Job Description:

A fantastic Secondary School based in the Borough of Greenwich are seeking an Unqualified Teaching Assistant – Autism Support to work alongside class teachers to assist young people with SEN/SEMH needs. The Unqualified Teaching Assistant – Autism Support role involves helping out with the class as a whole, as well as providing 1:1 support to children requiring additional assistance.

Job Responsibility:

Working in a highly-regarded Secondary School in Greenwich
Providing support to pupils with SEN/SEMH needs
Working alongside class teachers to teach core subjects
Leading 1:1 and small group interventions

Requirements:

A graduate holding a 1st Class degree or 2:1
Experience working with children and SEN/SEMH needs
A good understanding of the current curriculum
A passion for working with young people
