Job Responsibility:

Supporting development for all co-workers
Inspiring co-workers to grow, perform and stay with IKEA
Act as People & Culture business partner for the unit
Translate global people strategies into a clear local action plan
Support and influence managers to grow as leaders and build strong teams
Build local business competence through relevant goals and learning
Secure succession planning and talent development with managers
Be a role model of IKEA leadership and values
Work with Business Navigation to deliver a staff cost budget that meets business needs and secures a diverse team
Implement co-worker relations plans that support good workplace culture and follow laws and policies
Identify and drive ways to strengthen IKEA’s position as a local employer
Requirements:
Confident in leading others, managing multiple priorities, and inspiring people by sharing your ideas and values
Passionate about people and their growth, understanding how much it contributes to business results
Caring about creating a great co-worker experience and able to respond to the needs and feelings of others
Energized by fast-changing environments, enjoying a mix of strategic, tactical, and hands-on tasks
Skilled at attracting, recruiting, developing, and supporting co-workers and leaders, preparing successors, and ensuring proper onboarding for new colleagues
Someone who makes decisions based on facts, always looks for better ways of working, and is motivated by improvement and change
Able to lead long-term plans, set budgets and objectives, and use People & Culture solutions to make IKEA a more people-focused organization
Leading by example, expressing IKEA values, and collaborating with unit managers to safeguard and promote IKEA Culture
Ideally bringing at least 3 years of People & Culture experience, 2 years in management, or relevant HR education
