Position focuses on delivering facility management services with adherence to regulations and IKEA standards, providing mentorship and assistance to FM team members and external service providers. Responsibilities include project contributions, cost control, and ensuring service quality across assigned tasks.
Job Responsibility:
Using your specialist knowledge, support, advice and mentor your FM team members in the delivery of all agreed FM services in your site
Deliver the agreed site FM services in line with IKEA retail and property requirements and all applicable local regulations and IKEA group mandatories
Contribute to FM projects in your specialist area on behalf of the site FM manager
Provide assistance to external FM service providers in line with their contract
Report back on the service providers and service quality to the site FM manager
Support the tendering process for new/potential FM service providers
Support the site FM manager with the organisation of daily FM routines
Create an environment of trust by encouraging open, constructive, honest, two-way feedback with team members and colleagues
Support the site FM manager in creating the annual FM budget
Assist the site FM manager in cost controlling
Work in a lean, simple and cost-conscious way
Requirements:
Proven experience in a multi-service FM organisation (or equivalent), preferably in high-volume retail sector
Professional qualification or proven successful experience in the specialist area as specified/required by the site FM manager
Technical knowledge, and practical experience in facility area
including electrical and lighting, mechanical and HVAC, structural site, fire safety system and energy management are an advantage
Understand automation systems, assist in routine maintenance, support troubleshooting tasks
Knowledge and experience including conveyors, sensors, motors and electrical sequences are an advantage
Ability to communicate confidently and clearly both in Korean and in English is an advantage
Very good interpersonal, analytical, problem solving skills
Ability and willingness to share knowledge
Be able to deal with stressful situations (ex. critical situations like fire detections, flooding, black-out and etc.) and able to work in a self-directed environment to resolve problems and to complete complex tasks within deadlines and financial constraints
Service minded and customer oriented
Being a team player, always positive and solution driven
Strive to support and backup for team members whenever possible
Nice to have:
