Job Description:

Based in our 100 Bishopsgate office in London, you will work on the day-to-day processing and administration of the United Kingdom payrolls. This position is full time and requires 4 days in the office.

Job Responsibility:

  • Responsible for processing monthly changes including starters, leavers, salary changes etc on the payroll system within deadline
  • Responsible for EDI and RTI processes
  • Responsible for checking all calculations of all changes for the month, salary adjustments, benefits and payments
  • Processing of any supplemental run and raise payment, where necessary
  • Preparing and posting of monthly payroll journals
  • Working with the wider Finance team to reconcile payroll ledger accounts
  • Liaising with the Tax authority (HMRC), when necessary
  • Responding to employee payroll queries within SLA

Requirements:

  • In-depth experience of UK tax legislation, National Insurance (NI), statutory payments and HMRC regulations
  • Strong background in HR and Payroll software applications
  • Very strong communication skills (both oral and written) and an ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels
  • Able to work with the global payroll team with a basic understanding of international payroll processes
  • Hard-working and enthusiastic, having a high level of initiative and a willingness to learn
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment and dealing with large volumes
