Job Description:

This role will give you exposure to trend forecasting and analysis and how this insight is gathered and applied. You will work as a member of the team. The role is based at our Headquarters in Arnhem, remote working possibilities are available. Internship start date: February 2026 (6 months duration).

Job Responsibility:

  • Support trends tracking and reporting
  • Carry out online tracking and capture of brand and business activity against key trend themes and business interest areas to highlight interesting innovations, partnerships and brand communication
  • Mine public data sources such as the WHO, UN, and OECD
  • Feed findings into reports and presentations
  • Help the team to analyze, chart and visualize data from consumer surveys
  • Carry out new product launch analysis on Innova's Database to support the trends work
  • Assist in the management and coordination of our Global Trendspotter Network
  • Help to assimilate findings and summarize for inclusion in reports or sharing with internal teams

Requirements:

  • Student studying in the Netherlands during the internship term
  • Curious about trends and how the world is changing
  • Looking for an internship in the field of trends and innovation
  • Could be from a background in marketing, business, data analytics, research, or food science
  • Seeking an internship as part of studies
  • Digitally fluent and highly organized with excellent attention to detail
  • Good at data analysis
  • Good at seeing patterns in data
  • Good knowledge of data analytic and MS programmes such as Excel, PowerPoint
  • Attention to detail and trust in data provision is essential
  • Highly motivated self-starter
  • Can work comfortably as part of a remote working team
