Vice President role in Citi's Risk Management organization overseeing risk-taking activities and assessing risks independently. The position focuses on ensuring sound second line oversight and consistent implementation of policies and procedures across entities operating out of Singapore, with specific focus on Liquidity Risk, Interest Rate Risk (IRRBB), Investments and Capital Risk.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee design, development, delivery and maintenance of best-in-class Risk Management programs
Set strategic direction with focus on Liquidity Risk, Interest Rate Risk (IRRBB), Investments and Capital Risk
Work with Singapore FINCRO team and global risk teams
Front senior regulators on key legal entity related asset-liability management matters
Provide oversight and guidance over assessment of broad complex issues
Review and participate in approval of local risk framework
Interact with other key risk seniors across clusters and globe
Liaise with regulatory examiners, Internal Audit, and external auditors
Conduct analysis and provide challenge for Risk Appetite Statements, Stress Testing
Oversee and drive compliance with regulatory requirements
Participate in new product approval reviews
Drive Global Risk projects to improve accuracy of Risk assessment
Requirements:
Degree in Finance
Postgraduate degree in a quantitative or financial discipline preferred
7+ years relevant experience within risk management, treasury, or support functions with exposure to balance sheet, financial products, financial/risk analysis
Prior work experience in material entities and/or regional markets
Expert knowledge of treasury, market risk, liquidity management, and derivative products
Subject Matter Expert in asset-liability management, financial instruments, risk metrics and Risk Management
Good analytical, technical and quantitative skills
Ability to interact with auditors/regulators
Understanding of applicable best practice guidelines and regulations
Up-to-date working knowledge of regulatory requirements and change
Articulate and effective communicator
Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel/VBA, Word, PowerPoint) and SQL
Project management skills
Team player, self-driven and finds it natural to take initiative
Business level English Proficiency
Nice to have:
Postgraduate degree in a quantitative or financial discipline
Up-to-date working knowledge of regulatory requirements and change from Basel and local regulatory authorities
