Job Responsibility:

Oversee and manage the entire transport operations, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and safety standards
To oversee the planning and co-ordinating of maintenance on all company vehicles
Driver PDP, CPC training to be scheduled in timely order to ensure staff are constantly suitably trained
Develop and implement effective transport strategies to optimise efficiency and reduce costs
Manage relationships with suppliers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless operations
Monitor and analyse transport performance metrics, implementing improvements where necessary
To be involved in the buying of product as needed within a framework given by the Directors
Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to ensure safety and compliance

Requirements:

Proven experience in transport management
Current holder of CPC in National Road Haulage Operations
Strong understanding of transport regulations and safety standards
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficient in transport management software and systems
A valid driving licence is required
