Job Responsibility:

  • Coordinate upgrades, rebuilds, or new designs of distribution lines
  • Support the production of overhead distribution line designs
  • Use problem-solving to create and/or review proposed design solutions, evaluate structure strengths, and ensure compliance with NESC and client electrical clearances
  • Assist in preparing construction packages, creating and routing work order packages, and responding to construction inquiries
  • Perform other duties as assigned with a willingness to adapt as needed
  • Travel up to 25%

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
  • 0-1 years of experience in power line design is preferred
  • Passed F.E. Exam (Engineer-In-Training) or planning to obtain
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with AutoCAD is a plus
  • Valid driver’s license for multi-state travel
