Transaction Management will be responsible for supporting multiple aspects of the lending lifecycle including loan closing, servicing coordination, facilitating complex client onboarding, data management, and quality control. The team ensures compliance with both internal and external requirements while improving processes and operations.
Job Responsibility:
Contribute to the build and development of the team to support loan origination and lifecycle management
assist with the creation of processes, standards, procedures, controls, training, and implementation of transaction management
aid in the design and implementation of technology including testing and rollout
provide training and support to transaction management staff and business constituents
partner with originating and coverage business lines, credit risk, operations, legal, etc.
ensure quality of data, controls, and processes meet internal policies and regulatory requirements
define and implement operational metrics and risk and control reviews
improve processes, controls, and efficiencies within the group and loan lifecycle
participate in projects to enhance performance
take part in loan remediation and loan system testing/migrations
actively manage and maintain a deal closing pipeline
coordinate and close loan transactions/lifecycle events, capture data, store documentation, troubleshoot issues/roadblocks, and perform quality control
assess risk when making business decisions, demonstrating compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
2-5 years relevant experience
excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
ability to work well under tight deadlines, manage priorities, and complete assigned tasks with minimal management follow up
quantitative skills with high proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft-based programs
familiarity with Tableau or visualization tools
experience with Loan IQ, transaction capture tools
keen attention to detail
developed analytical and problem-solving abilities
client relationship and solution skills
ability to write, read & speak English fluently
Nice to have:
experience within a large global team supporting wholesale lending at a large financial institution
knowledge of wholesale loan (syndicated/bilateral) products and business, including understanding of legal loan documentation, loan/funding mechanics, deal structure, funds flows
experience working with clients under time constraints to facilitate transactions or processes
proven ability to collaborate with team members, senior management, and other business constituents
critical decision-making capabilities including ability to identify, escalate, and propose solutions to problems
strong organizational and time management skills
understanding of operational processes supporting wholesale lending
ability to work in rapidly changing environments
