Job Description:

Deliver foundational and process specific training in mortgage underwriting and evaluate the trainee performance. Much of the role will entail all L&D specific tasks from content creation to delivery of training to batches of all sizes. Engagement will vary form novices to underwriting domain to experienced staff.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver foundational and process specific training in mortgage underwriting and evaluate the trainee performance
  • Much of the role will entail all L&D specific tasks from content creation to delivery of training to batches of all sizes
  • Train staff on the basics of US mortgage industry and cover functional aspects of Loan Originations, Underwriting, Closing and Post closing, Servicing, Default Servicing and Title Industry
  • Trainee staff on loan processing concepts that includes reviewing 1003, identifying and understanding the initial submission of documents
  • Expertise in training Underwriting concepts such as reviewing eligibility across Income, Credit, Collateral analysis, Assets
  • Have wide knowledge of loan conditions and the supporting information or document to remediate those conditions
  • Must be aware of and be able to train staff on compliance, regulatory standards and guidelines
  • Be proficient at creating training manuals, document SOP, Work-flow diagrams, AS IS, TO BE processes & drill down to keyboard level Instructions
  • Create Training content in PPT, Word, and E learning tools
  • Coordinate with various functions to for execution of training responsibilities

Requirements:

  • Must have training experience of handling small to large size batches
  • Must have experience in training teams, transitions & operations management
  • Over all 5+ Years of work experience
  • Should be a graduate in any domain
  • Advanced working knowledge of MS Office (esp. MS Excel) suite of products skills
  • Excellent written & verbal English communication skills
  • Excellent people management and stake holder management
  • Excellent Classroom Management and Facilitation Skills

Nice to have:

  • Any Learning and development related course or certification will be a plus
  • Experience in Post-Close/Investor Audits/Correspondent channel would be an added advantage
