Job Description:

A new job is the perfect way to kickstart the new year, if you can offer a warm and genuine Scottish welcome to visitors from around the world, then we’d love to hear from you. We have opportunities for Trainee tour bus drivers to join our award-winning, five-star team for the season. We operate tours for the worlds most recognised sightseeing organisation as well as our own branded routes. As this is a seasonal role, we also offer the security to remain permanently within the wider Lothian Group when the season comes to an end.

Job Responsibility:

  • You will be the welcoming face of Edinburgh to thousands of travellers
  • Using the onboard equipment to deliver a commentary about all the famous Edinburgh sights and landmarks
  • Your role will be to help our visitors experience the very best Edinburgh has to offer

Requirements:

  • A full UK driving licence, which you’ve held for more than a year, with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Exceptional customer service skills and great communication skills
  • Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic regulations
  • Flexibility – our tour services operate from 8 till 8, every day of the year, so your shifts will include weekends and public holidays
