Job Description:

Working as Full-time Traffic Administration, you will be responsible for monitoring the day-to-day operations of the Transportation department. This is an entry-level position based out of our distribution center located at 1225 Mid Valley Dr, Jessup, PA 18434. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

Job Responsibility:

  • Monitoring the effective and efficient daily operations of the Traffic department
  • Communicating internally and externally by phone and email
  • Maintaining files, documents, paperwork and data entry
  • Managing budgets and performance metrics
  • Complying with safety regulations
  • Assisting with scheduling drivers and securing loads
  • Assisting in maintaining files, documents, paperwork and data entry
  • Assisting in managing budgets and performance metrics
  • Operate a Fastenal vehicle and run truck routes, Non-CDL and/or CDL, as needed

Requirements:

  • Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located
  • Proficient written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
  • Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule
  • Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
  • Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbs
  • Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)
