Job Description:

Aurizon is currently seeking a committed Track Worker to join our Infrastructure Maintenance team in Blackwater. You will be working in a small team to carry out infrastructure track maintenance, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, values teamwork and has a proactive attitude toward safety and improvement.

Job Responsibility:

  • Facilitate, lead and contribute achievement of safety and environmental performance targets by actively promoting safe behaviour, implementing strategies to minimise the risk of injury or loss
  • Undertake infrastructure track maintenance to specified quality and consistency
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities and contribute to the development of new work practices
  • Report on actual work performed against the scheduled work program

Requirements:

  • an experienced Track Worker with knowledge of track maintenance
  • 'C' Class Driver Licence (Mandatory)
  • Cert III Rail Infrastructure or willing to obtain

Nice to have:

'HR' or ‘MR’ Class Driver Licence huge advantage
