Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Tour Guide who will create an unforgettable experience at Villa Park as one of English football’s most historic venues. You will be a frontline ambassador for the Club leading groups around Villa Park, walking in the footsteps of our finest players, both past and present. You will stop at points of interest to share stories and bring our Club’s rich heritage to life. You will also blend expert knowledge, humor and personality whilst answering questions with professionalism and keeping our guests safe and co – ordinated at all times.

Job Responsibility:

  • Create an unforgettable experience at Villa Park as one of English football’s most historic venues
  • Act as a frontline ambassador for the Club leading groups around Villa Park
  • Stop at points of interest to share stories and bring the Club’s rich heritage to life
  • Blend expert knowledge, humor and personality whilst answering questions with professionalism
  • Keep guests safe and co-ordinated at all times
  • Carry out pre-tour checks, ensuring the full route is safe, inclusive and accessible
  • Engage with a wide varied audience and adapt delivery accordingly

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working as a Tour Guide in a similar role
  • Excellent conversational skills with a flair of storytelling
  • Exemplary customer service skills with passion and enthusiasm to provide unforgettable tour experiences
  • Professional and confident whilst presenting, with the ability to adapt style depending on audience
  • Ability to work flexibly as the Club requires, including Matchday working, evenings and weekends
  • Must have access to a vehicle and/or the ability to travel to Villa Park
