Job Description:

The Hardware Engineering team at Ledger is seeking a dedicated Touchscreen/Display Integration Engineer to join our team. You will be instrumental in the development and integration of advanced display and touch solutions for our next-generation hardware. Your responsibilities will span the entire lifecycle of display and touch integration, including hands-on driver selection, design, prototyping, rigorous testing, and validation, all the way through to mass production. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, playing a key role in evaluating and selecting display technologies, defining detailed technical specifications, and ensuring seamless integration of touch functionalities. You'll be expected to maintain a deep understanding of the latest advancements in display and touch technology, and conduct in-depth evaluations to drive our long-term technology strategy.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design, develop, and integrate display and touch solutions for new and existing products
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of display and touch performance
  • Collaborate with vendors to evaluate and select optimal display and touch components
  • Troubleshoot and resolve display and touch-related issues
  • Optimize display and touch performance for power consumption, image quality, and responsiveness
  • Contribute to the development of display and touch related intellectual property
  • Participate in design reviews and provide technical expertise
  • Maintain detailed documentation of display and touch integration processes

Requirements:

  • Masters’ degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience in display design and integration
  • Demonstrated experience with touch integration and validation
  • Strong understanding of display technologies (e.g., TFT, OLED, E-Ink) and their performance characteristics, trade-offs, and limitations
  • In-depth touch technology knowledge and their implementation. Experience with touch controller tuning. Ability to analyze touch performance metrics
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
  • Curiosity about the crypto / blockchain industry a big plus
  • Fluent English speaking and writing skills
